J&K: 3 Terrorists Gunned Down In Encounter Near Nagrota
Security forces have achieved a major success in Jammu and Kashmir. Three terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces at a toll plaza in Nagrota on Friday morning. A policeman was also injured in this incident.
According to information coming in, the terrorists were on their way from Jammu to Srinagar in a truck around 5 a.m. When the truck was stopped for checks at Ban toll plaza, the terrorists opened fire at security personnel. Police shot at the terrorists in retaliatory fire, in which three of them were killed.
The Jammu-Srinagar highway has been closed for traffic due to security reasons after this incident. Security forces have encircled the entire area and search operations are underway. Meanwhile, police officials have ordered the closure of all schools in Nagrota as a precautionary measure.
