LGBT Community Unhappy With Transgender Bill 2019
The transgender community is planning to take to the streets against the Transgender Bill 2019. This Bill has been passed in both Houses of Parliament and the President has also approved it. But the transgender community says that with this Bill, an attempt has been made to scale down their rights.

The transgender community is not happy with the passage of the Transgender Bill 2019 and it is protesting against it in various parts of the country.

The Coimbatore Transgender Association held a peaceful protest against the Bill and said that it is contrary to the Supreme Court's verdict of 2014, and it does not understand the feelings of the transgender community.

The transgender community says that through this Bill, questions are being raised about their identity. There is a provision for conducting a surgery for the transgender community in this Bill. The Bill also says that after a medical examination, a magistrate level officer will release official documents and approve a person being a transgender. This Bill has also made provisions such as longer stay with their family and taking the help of a rehab centre, for the transgender community.

The community says that the discrimination against them in society should end first of all, and for this, they will go to any lengths.
