Panipat Industries Bear The Brunt Of Pollution Cra
Several factories in the NCR have been forced to close in order to improve the poisonous air of capital Delhi. However, due to this action, traders have lost patience. Thousands of traders from Panipat’s handloom and dye industries have taken to the streets demanding that factories be reopened.

Protestors said that due to the shutdown, it has become difficult for those traders who have taken out loans to start their businesses to pay installments to banks.

Apart from Panipat, the lockdown has also been imposed in those areas of NCR from where the emanating pollution is making the air in Delhi more poisonous.

However, these traders say that it is wrong to shut down their industries in order to prevent pollution. There has been a loss of more than Rs 500 crore in course of the 15-day lockdown.
