State-Wise Break Up Of Coronavirus Cases And Deaths

The number of coronavirus patients keeps increasing. According to Health Ministry data at 8 a.m. on April 25, the total number of patients has reached 24,506 and the number of active patients is 18,668. While 775 people have lost their lives so far, 5,062 people have recovered as well.

The highest number of deaths (301) in the country has taken place in Maharashtra, where 6,817 cases have been reported and 840 people have recovered as well.

In Gujarat, 127 people have lost their lives due to the coronavirus so far. While 265 people have been discharged here, the total number of patients is 2,815. 

There have been 92 deaths in Madhya Pradesh. The total number of patients here is 1,852 and 210 patients have been discharged.

In Delhi, 53 people have died. Over here, 2,514 cases have come to light and 857 patients have recovered.

In Andhra Pradesh, 29 people have lost their lives so far. While 145 people have recovered, 955 people have contracted the coronavirus here.

There have been 27 deaths in Rajasthan. Over here, 2,034 cases have been reported and 230 patients have recovered.

In Telangana, 26 people have lost their lives so far. While 253 people have recovered here, 984 people have contracted the coronavirus.

In Uttar Pradesh, a total of 1,621 cases have come to light. While 25 people have died here, 247 have been discharged as well.

In Tamil Nadu, there have been 22 deaths. While 1,755 cases have come to light here, 866 people have recovered as well.

In West Bengal, 18 people have lost their lives so far. While 103 people have recovered, a total of 571 people have contracted the coronavirus here.

There have been 18 deaths in Karnataka. Over here, a total of 474 cases have been reported and 152 people have recovered.

In Punjab, there have been 17 deaths. While 67 people have recovered here, the total number of patients is 298.

In Jammu and Kashmir, five people have lost their lives so far. While 109 people have recovered here, 454 people have contracted the coronavirus.

There have been three deaths each in Kerala, Haryana and Jharkhand. In Kerala 450, in Haryana 272 and in Jharkhand 57 people have contracted the coronavirus. In Kerala 331, in Haryana 156 and in Jharkhand eight patients have recovered so far.

In Bihar, two people have died so far. Over here, a total of 223 cases have been reported and 46 patients have been discharged.

Apart from this, there has been one death each in Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya.

The coronavirus has hit 33 states of the country so far and the number of patients is increasing rapidly.
