State-Wise Tracker Of Coronavirus Cases And Deaths

The number of coronavirus patients shows no signs of letting up. 

According to Health Ministry data at 8 a.m. on April 27, the total number of patients in the country has reached 27,892 and the number of active patients is 20,835. 

While 872 people have lost their lives so far, 6,184 patients have recovered as well.

The highest number of deaths in the country (342) has taken place in Maharashtra, where 8,068 cases have come to light and 1,076 people have recovered.

In Gujarat, 151 people have died due to the coronavirus so far. While 313 people have been discharged here, the total number of patients is 3,301.

There have been 103 deaths in Madhya Pradesh. The total number of patients here is 2,096 and 302 patients have been discharged.

In Delhi, 54 people have died. A total of 2,918 cases have been reported here and 877 patients have recovered as well.

In Rajasthan, 33 people have lost their lives so far. While 518 people have recovered here, 2,185 people have contracted the coronavirus.

In Andhra Pradesh, 31 people have died. While 1,097 cases have been reported here, 231 patients have recovered as well.

There have been 29 deaths in Uttar Pradesh. The total number of patients here is 1,868 and 289 patients have been discharged.

In Telangana, 26 people have lost their lives so far. While 253 people have recovered here, 984 people have contracted the coronavirus.

In Tamil Nadu, 24 people have died. While 1,885 cases have come to light so far, 1,020 people have recovered as well.

In West Bengal, 20 people have lost their lives so far. While 105 people have recovered, 649 people have contracted the coronavirus.

There have been 19 deaths in Karnataka. Over here, 503 cases have been reported and 182 people have recovered as well.

In Punjab, 18 people have died. While 71 people have recovered here, the total number of patients is 313.

In Jammu and Kashmir, six people have lost their lives so far. While 137 people have recovered here, the total number of patients is 523.

There have been four deaths in Kerala. While 338 people have recovered here, the total number of patients is 458. 

There have been three deaths each in Haryana and Jharkhand. In Haryana 289 and in Jharkhand 82 people have contracted the coronavirus. In Haryana 176 and in Jharkhand 13 patients have recovered so far.

In Bihar, two people have died so far. While 274 cases have been reported here, 56 patients have been discharged as well.

Apart from this, there has been one death each in Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya.

The coronavirus has hit 33 states of the country so far and the number of patients is increasing rapidly.
