BlueDot founder and CEO Kamran Khan, said the purpose of AI and companies that use it like BlueDot is to "spread knowledge faster than the diseases spread themselves."

Potential patients can also connect with doctors through telemedicine apps that most hospitals and health clinics are now offering to determine whether they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms before they go out of their way to spend money and time on getting a test.
