कोरोना ने पांच हज़ार से ज़्यादा जान ली, 24 घंटे में रिकॉर्ड आठ हज़ार से ज़्यादा मामले मिले
कोरोना मरीज़ों की विश्व तालिका में भारत नौवें नंबर पर है लेकिन दूसरे देशों के मुकाबले संक्रमण तेज़ी से फैल रहा है. अब जर्मनी में भारत से सिर्फ एक हज़ार मरीज़ और फ्रांस में छह हज़ार मरीज़ ज़्यादा हैं. इसके अलावा भारत में एक्टिव मरीज़ों की संख्या तबक़रीन 90 हज़ार पहुंच गई है जबकि फ्रांस में एक्टिव मरीज़ 91 हज़ार 586 हैं.Highest spike of 8,380 new #COVID19 cases in the last 24 hours in India, 193 deaths reported. इस बीच प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने अपने रेडियो प्रोग्राम मन की बात में देशवासियों को संबोधित किया है. उन्होंने याद दिलाया कि जब उन्होंने आख़िरी बार मन की बात की थी तब यात्री ट्रेनें, बसें, हवाई सेवा बंद थी लेकिन अब ज़्यादातर पाबंदियां हटा ली गई हैं. श्रमिक ट्रेन, अन्य विशेष ट्रेन और हवाई सेवा शुरू हो गई है.’
उन्होंने एक बार फिर दोहराया कि दूसरे देशों के मुक़ाबले भारत कोरोना के संक्रमण को रोकने में काफी हद तक कामयाब रहा है. उन्होंने कहा, ‘जब हम दूसरे देशों को देखते हैं, तब हमें अपनी उपलब्धियों का एहसास होता है. कई देशों के मुक़ाबले हमारी आबादी कई गुना ज़्यादा है और चुनौतियां अलग तरह की हैं लेकिन इसके बावजूद कोरोना उतनी तेज़ी से नहीं फैला जितनी तेज़ी से दूसरे देशों में फैला. मौतों की दर भी काफी कम है.’When last time I spoke with you in Mann Ki Baat, passenger trains, buses, air services were closed but this time curbs have been lifted.
