State-Wise Coronavirus Cases In India, Maharashtra
The number of patients infected with the novel coronavirus are on the rise. According to the latest data from the Health Ministry, 12 deaths and 131 new cases have been reported across the country in the last 12 hours. After this, the total number of active patients in India stands at 1,764 and death toll rises to 50. Meanwhile, 150 people have recovered so far.

The maximum deaths (13) took place in Maharashtra, where 335 cases have been reported and 42 people have recovered.


In Madhya Pradesh, six people have died out of 99 total cases and no one has been discharged yet.

In Gujarat, six patients have died, where the total number of infected is 82 and five have been discharged.

In Punjab, coronavirus has claimed four lives. Over here, the total number of patients is 46 and only one patient has recovered.

In Karnataka, 110 cases have come to light. While three people have died, nine patients have been discharged.

Three deaths occurred each in Telangana and West Bengal. In Telangana, 96 cases have been reported and in West Bengal, 37 cases have come to light, while three patients each have recovered in both the states.

Apart from this, two deaths were reported each in Kerala, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

While Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh have reported one death each.

The coronavirus has so far taken 29 states in the country in its grip and a rapid increase is being registered in the number of infected people.
