Rape Attempt In MP Quarantine Centre, Suicide In Bihar
The most effective measures to evade the coronavirus are physical distancing and quarantine. However, the quarantine centres of state governments are in bad shape.
The security arrangements at the quarantine centre in Bihar’s Vaishali district were so poor that a labourer who had returned from Delhi committed suicide by hanging himself.
A rape attempt was made on a woman at a quarantine centre in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar. Despite not being placed under quarantine, the two accused managed to break into the centre and record her video while she was taking a bath and then tried to rape her. Sagar’s Garhakota Police is now conducting raids in search of the duo. The victim belongs to Damoh and works as a labourer in Indore. She was quarantined after returning from Indore recently.
