Two Criminals Killed In Encounter By Delhi Police
Two criminals were killed in an encounter with the police in the national capital on Monday morning.

The incident took place around 5 a.m. at Pul Prahladpur, when the Special Cell of the Delhi Police tried to apprehend the two criminals during checking. Seeing themselves cornered, the criminals opened fire at the police who fired in retaliation, during which the criminals were shot.

The duo, injured in the firing, was admitted to a hospital where they died during treatment.

Around 30 rounds were fired from both sides in this encounter. The police said that the criminals have been identified as Raja Qureshi and Ramesh Bahadur and both were wanted in a murder case. Police said that they were also wanted in a recent case of murder in Karawal Nagar.

Bodies of the two wanted criminals have been sent for post-mortem examination.
