The duo, injured in the firing, was admitted to a hospital where they died during treatment. Around 30 rounds were fired from both sides in this encounter. The police said that the criminals have been identified as Raja Qureshi and Ramesh Bahadur and both were wanted in a murder case. Police said that they were also wanted in a recent case of murder in Karawal Nagar. Bodies of the two wanted criminals have been sent for post-mortem examination.
